Gidja Club Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care

The Out of School Hours Program operates each night after school.  Children who have attended school that day are collected by bus and taken to Gidja Club where they are given a snack and can participate in organised activities.  They are then returned home by 6pm.

Vacation Care is run during school holidays from the same premises as the Out of School Hours Care Program. Activities during this time include art, craft, sport and day excursions.

Hours: Gidja Club  -  3.30 - 6.00p.m.  Monday to Friday
Hours: Vacation Care  - 9.30am - 4.30pm  Monday to Friday

Pt Lincoln Aboriginal Community Housing

Role: Homes are rented out to employees of Aboriginal service organisations under an agreement with the PLACC. Currently there are 8 houses in stock.

A.V.S. Aboriginal Visitor Scheme

Provide support for Aboriginal clients (18 years and over) taken into Police custody and support Police with their duty of care responsibilities inclusive of the facilitation of communication between the Police and the client. Promote positive relations between the South Australian Police and the local Aboriginal community.
Provide care, comfort and companionship to clients.
This service is an out of hours service and operates between 5.00pm - 8.30am Monday to Friday and 24 hours a day Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

Kuranya Family Association is an incorporation setup to cater for the needs and aspirations of the direct descendants of Elizabeth and Fred Richards within the Eyre Peninsula region.

Working with a share farmer maintaining the property at Big Swamp via Port Lincoln. The associations main objective at present is to promote a harmonious environment for the family to come together.
